Blue iQ will not collect personal information unless it is necessary for its functions or activities. We will only collect personal information in a fair and lawful way, and with your consent.



Use and Disclosure

Blue iQ will not use personal information for a secondary purpose (that is, a purpose other than the purpose for which it was collected) without the your consent unless the secondary purpose is related to the primary purpose and the you would expect the use to be made. Exceptions may be made in the interests of public health and safety, and law enforcement.



Data Quality

Blue iQ will take reasonable steps to make sure that the personal information it collects, uses or discloses is accurate, complete and up-to-date.



Data Security

Blue iQ will take reasonable steps to protect personal information from unauthorised access and use. Blue iQ will destroy or permanently de-identify personal information when it is no longer required.



Openness

Blue iQ will prepare and make available its policies for the management of personal information. On request, Blue iQ will disclose in general terms what sort of personal information it holds, for what purposes, and how it collects, holds, uses and discloses that information.



Access And Correction

Blue iQ will give access to personal information to an individual in relation to whom it holds such information, and Blue iQ will not charge an unreasonable fee for so doing.



Identifiers

Blue iQ will not use government identifiers as its own identifiers for individuals.



Anonymity

Wherever it is lawful and practicable, individuals have the option of not identifying themselves when entering into transactions with Blue iQ.



Transborder Data Flows

Blue iQ will only transfer personal information outside Australia without the consent of an individual if it reasonably believes the information will be granted a similar level of protection as under Blue iQ's own Privacy Policy.



Sensitive Information

Blue iQ will not collect sensitive information e.g. information on an individual's race or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious beliefs or affiliations, philosophical beliefs, membership of a professional or trade association, membership of a trade union, sexual preferences or practices, criminal record, or health information.
